Order Entry Clerk

  1. Order Entry Clerk will report to Customer Service Manager 

 

Overview: Process all incoming orders into ERP system and uphold data integrity of all finished goods inventory. 

 

  1. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain all customer account records in ERP and CRM.  Also, follow and help maintain all procedures regarding order processing and customer communication.  

  • Accurately process all incoming customer purchase orders and generate a sales order in ERP to record all sales transactions. 

  • Gain and retain a working knowledge of all products manufactured by Backer Marathon in order to process orders and effectively offer product education.   

  • Address customer request for order status, order documentation, technical information and logistical information,  

  • Help customers navigate the company website to retrieve order history, invoices, check stock pricing and availability.  Also, educate customers how to use online pricing wizard and ecommerce tools.  

  • Closely work with design, production and shipping departments to help schedule and ensure on time deliveries. 

  • Coordinate all customer shipping and packaging instructions with shipping department for accuracy.  

  • Follow the guidance of inside sales department to help ensure customer account satisfaction.  

  • Answer all incoming calls and direct to the appropriate dept. for follow up.  

 

  1. QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma, GED,or equivalent work experience 

  • Computer Literate (Email, Documents, Internet Browser, etc.) 

  • Data Entry, Call Center or Customer Service experience (preferred) 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 

  • English (required): Spanish (preferred) 

  • Detail Oriented 

  • Ability to multi-task 

  • Basic math skills
